wordpress plugin

I have this blog http://techden.info/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and the theme has been made by one of my friends i wast to know that i have tried the COUNTER plugin but none of them seems to work. They just don't appear on the blog. I don't know the reason for it?? Is it the theme or something else? If anyone could help me?
and yes one more thing i want to add a media play list to the same but again m unable to do it. Is it the same reason behind this also?

most people I know use wp-stats for their statistics:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-stats/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
you can also add a widget to the sidebar if you want to display them to visitors....if I remember it right you need a API key from wordpress, but that's done quick.

for a playlist tubepress might be what you are looking for, you can create galleries from youtube playlists with it:
