i will assume you are trying to get a free account?
if yes, then i don't think its easy. At least, personally, i have never came across any hacks for steam accounts. They are doing a good job i suppose... no half-life for me

Hmm. I didn't know you could download Steam for free.

Steam itself is free. What you pay for is the unique CD Key required for the game and I'm not aware of a way to play on hacked servers (if there are any unofficial servers in the first place).
