Not sure if I'm classified as a newbie or not but heres my question. I'm fluent in html and decent with both php and visual basic, I am still continuing to learn vb as well as starting into c++. The one thing I am dieing to learn is reverse engineering. I know it has many uses, everything from shell exploits to cracking software keys. Does anyone know a good start for reverse engineering? What should I read? Where can I get it? And of course what tools should i acquire?
Any help is well appreciate,
FaoX

Well, the key language to reverse engineering is ASM in my opinion. C++ is decent as well, of course. I read a few reverse engineering tutorials a while back... i think it was http://fatetek.net
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

reason you would need C++ is to write
keygens cracks exploits etc
