well, even if they cause no problems it's still a waste of resources, disable the poopy windows one and I bet your system will be faster afterwards... :wink:

Ok, i just turned off the windows firewall :twisted:
If you say one is enough.

Edit:
It eat's really a lot of resources.
I thought only two would be better than one :?

2 firewalls on the same system are never better than 1....not only because of the resources and the fact that they might interfere with each other, a desktop firewall is a service that is connected to the outside (internet) and every service is a potential risk: less services less risk... :wink:

B-B is right in case anyone is clueless as to what he said:

The more processes you have running, especially 'allowed' permissions to access the internet - means more processes someone can hijack or abuse. Even your other firewall will ignore an attack on the other firewall - because you told it that it is a trusted program. Therefore, you actually disabled both firewalls ;)

IF you are clueless as to what I said, never mind, keep running two firewalls.
