Need some links

Post by visser »

Hey guys. Me and my dad are working on this website we have in mind, its coming along very well. i think its actually gotten me into college lol.

We need some help. i need as many linnks as you guys have about two things

1 APIs (Application Programming Interface) I dont care what the api is for i want it and i want to know how to use it. tutorials, documentation, example, i dont care. i want them.

2 Coding help websites. i specifically need javascript, php, and xml. If you guys recomend it to learn those languages i need them.

anything would be great. im not very picky i just need as many links that you guys would recomend to learn any of this. i really appreciate this guys :)

thanks for the start guys. Were digging right and left for some solid helps and finind a few very good ones.

o and lightcrowler, im pretty fluent in html, php css, adding javascript, i got some basic mysql, c++ and visual basic. Thanks for the tip on html :P i concure, anybody who doesnt know html and plans on working with computers it helps with more than just websites, its just the general knowledge of how coding works that helps you in so many ways.

keep the links coming guys!

(and a little clarification by API i more specifically meant web based APIs like google maps and weatherbugs API. a lil more info about google's API http://code.google.com/apis/maps/docume ... index.html)

not to go off topic, but hey Floodhound i notice in your sig your link has a redirection type looking thing , is that what it does in browsers?

say http://www.suck-o.com/\www.floodhouds.com??

will that work with proxys say if i want to proxy from the address bar

208.216.2.42/\www.whatever.com? i have always used TOR or set it up manually threw options, it would be nice to know if i could proxy like that also, thanks
