Nvidia Display Manager

Post by visser »

So currently my computer mainly uses linux, but i do go into windows for some programs, ive had xp on it before and it allowed me to put my screen resolution really high, it got so high that i could almost use my desktop like a magnifying glass looking at different parts of a piece of paper. i want that back, but i cant find where to configure it at...

any help please?

what did you have your resolution set to, was it some kind of right click option to zoom in on certain parts of the screen or what?

well currently the max i can set the resolution to is 1280 by 800.. i think... idk im back in linux. but i set it higher than that. so to compensate for a higher resolution than could fit on the laptop screen the desktop was almost like a webpage that is to big to fit on the browser so you have scroll bars on the bottom and side.
