Wifi Problems

Post by Steven8o8o »

I apologize if this in the wrong place, you guys don't have a tech support forum, so I think this section will suffice.

Anyways, I own a linksys router that I use for two laptops, one pda, and xbox. When one of the laptops is connected and I turn on my other, my wifi stops working and says that I have "limited connectivity" and disconnects all the laptops/pda/xbox using it. I try to restart the router it but that doesn't work. The router is pretty new, like five months old new. It is a real pain in the ass to deal since it takes about 15 minutes to fix itself. I doubt that it cuts out because of too many connections, but I am not 100% sure. Do any of you know what is wrong/how to fix this?

Thanks,
Steven

Go to the linksys settings through your browser and then follow the setting and add each computers mac address. You can also set up static ip addresses to help stop them conflicting.

Hope this helps
