Bitcoin 0.8.0 released

did you upgrade already? I did when I re-installed my OS, which caused some issues....the folder structure changed with this version, and also the names of the blockfiles it seems. after putting the backed up blockfiles into all possible places they still were not found by the client, so in the end I had to do a whole new blockfile download.

Yeah I upgraded, and seems to work for me here, so far at least.

oh, ok. most likely the file structure is adjusted during the update. I saved the blockfiles from 0.7 and then tried to import them to 0.8 on the new system...luckily the wallet restore worked at least... :lol:
