package of portable apps for USB sticks!

Post by bad_brain »

alright, I created a package of applications which can be installed on portable devices like USB sticks, pretty useful when you're not at home, the package includes:

- Thunderbird (email client)
- K-Meleon (browser)
- HydraIRC (IRC client)
- Putty (SSH client)

all of these apps are special versions which are designed for portable usage. why K-Meleon instead of portable Firefox you may ask, simply because K-Meleon is a lot better imo, especially in privacy issues.
you can get it here.

enjoy...

Blunt, are we?

SSH = Secure shell, so it's a secure version of "raw" communication between a client (or several clients) and a server.

I made a version of Adobe Captivate portable. Real usefull especially for work places when they have admin rights and you need to show someone how to. and email it. Great app.
