How do you get the Admin. Code for Windows Xp?

hey guys im new at hacking and only know the basics but i have a school laptop and can not figure out how to get the Admin. password so i can make it my own plz help!

hey bad, its required the admin on the computer to run LCP from the computer... or you have to boot from a different OS and then the copy the SAM file...

oh,didn´t knew that...I was just running the prog on my system and checked for the proper results to make sure it works....
well,then the boot disk should be used, which is a little more work...

when I lost my admin pass word I had to reformat

use knoppix to boot into your laptop, mount your HD's, remove any data you wish to keep onto a flash drive (if you want to reformat).
now find the SAMS file and save to your flash drive and use LC5 on a different machine to crack
the SAMS db is locked while inside of windows and does not even show in windows explorer.
I have first hand used this method.
