BankersBank Card Services (BBCS) provides the tools for financial
institutions to service their own merchant accounts. The company
needed an intrusion detection system to become compliant with the
VISA CISP standard. They wanted the best IDS system for finding and
understanding attacks. After expanding to two sites, the number of
network segments requiring coverage tripled. BBCS wanted to standardize
on a single IDS, and manage it with an enterprise management tool,
and they also needed comprehensive, easy to read reports for auditors
and management. The IDS system they bought was easy to manage,
provided good reporting, and proof that it was keeping the company's
data secure.

Greg Clayton is Assistant Vice President and Network Security Manager
for BBCS and Michael Morgan is Network Security Administrator.
They support more than 400 employees and BBCS's online services are
used by many banks. In addition to managing their regular security
programs, Greg and Michael have been responsible for shepherding BBCS
through the process of reaching and maintaining compliance with the
VISA /MasterCard Processing Card Industry's "Data Security Standard"
(previously called VISA CISP).
