Good port scanner any recommend?

No explicit questions like "how do I hack xxx.com" please!

Ok , i would need lany good scanner with like nmap (A SYN scan etc..)
so i can see the open ports & services?...

Superscan 4, you can find it in the downloads, not as much options like nmap (still the best), but you can run SYN- or connect-scans..... :wink:

best port scanner you can get also
there are lot's ov tutorials there are even
full book's about it :lol:

They also have a full tutorial on the site to teach you how to use nmap.

I believe they call it a reference guide.

nmap best on Linux....because for me nmap never really worked on XP (except some really old versions). anyone the same experience? :?

it works but sometimes i get an error msg saying
host is unreachable when i know the host
is up even with the -P0 option and sometimes it
says that every port is open lol :lol:

I never even got it installed on XP despite the fact that I tried several times. I used other port scanners and downplayed it's quality but now using linux I got it working with out a problem and find it really does deserve the reputation it has.
We will either find a way, or make one.

i found one the other day. net tools. the newer version i got ahold of had nma built into it. like you would click some stuff then you would be running namp. idk. it was sweeet. so give that one a look through
