Well you can't simply say "a forum" since there are many different kind of forums out there.

And there are different ways.....

I think you could categorize them like this pretty much...

Social Engineering...

Exploiting...

And Brute Force (out of the question)

So you can start by learning what "exploiting" and "social engineering" means and get a general idea of it..... it will most likely point you a little in the right direction.

maybe you could learn how to make a forum, before destroying it. But thats just an idea.

lol, what?, you expect us to feel sympathy and simply give you a application with a red button saying "HACK" ?

Out of the question, you will have to read around and learn about stuff like everyone else. Start by learning what phpbb is and how it's built, then you can learn about "common" vulnerabilities like SQL-injection, how to find them and how to use them.

Oh! another thing, it might be good to introduce yourself
