sniff my finger, its clean
Nmap is the original, nice tool to see connections to your box.
Netstat is already included in windows os, that can view connections currently on your box.
You can also search for other freeware that can perform a gui for the same result - view connections. Can't go wrong checking out nmap.org
Your next step is to check out packet sniffers like ethereal(er sorry, wireshark!), ettercap or even iris..

Ok, I will not be sarcastic.
A good program is freeware I got from majorgeeks.com called CurrPorts, or i guess you could use Netstat in MS-Dos. "netstat -a" currports is alot better though imo

um, do you mean on remote computers or on your own?
if you mean on your own you can use netstat, but the MS version is crap compared to the *nix one because a lot of good options are missing.
so I recommend TCPview, you can get it in the downloads...it is the graphical equivalent of the "netstat -tnap" command on *nix and shows the ports and what apps are using them.
