password recovery

I have a comp running vista home premium 32bit and i have lost the administrator account password, i only have access to the guest account, and my other pc which im using now.

i need to know how i can recover the password, all i know is that it contains one or more of these swedish characters: å ä ö.

hm, if you really have to recover the password best use the Ophcrack live CD:

but if it's enough to set a new one:

open DOS and type

Code: Select all

net user Administrator /active:yes

and Administrator account will apear for login with no password

I dont know if you need admin rights or not for this to work
