Hi, is it possible to adjust router so it would redirect me from google to yahoo when I am trying to visit google.com

depends on what router you have, if you just want to do it locally then edit your hosts file.

if you are not obliged to do it with a router you can do it with windows (if it;s the installed OS)
all what you have to do is go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
in it you'll find a file called hosts
open it with your text editor and append this line it
google.com YAHOO_IP
P.S replace YAHOO_IP with the ip
this file is the first that he checks when the windows start the lookup process to transform the name to the IP before he send a request to the DNS

yeah, edit the hosts file. through the router it would be very complicated if not even impossible, because the router automatically resolves domains names to IPs through the ISPs DNS...

My netgear firewall lets me redirect web pages to different urls..so could be possible doing the redirect that way.
