Regarding Ftp servers
Re: Regarding Ftp servers
Filezilla should suit you pretty good
Rather simple to set up I think.
Give it a try
Code: Select all

Give it a try

Re: Regarding Ftp servers
I use FTP in an odd way.
Go to my documents -> then in the address bar type -> ftp.XXXXX.com.
Then the password and user name prompt will be ready.

Re: Regarding Ftp servers
A FTP server or a server file exchange program?
My post is a client that connects to a server to exchange files. So he might be confused at the meaning. You guys mention Filezilla. that is the same thing as using My Documents in the hacked way I described above.
either will do the same thing right?

Actually, FileZilla offers both a server and a client, in different packages though.
And since he described it as "creating an ftp server", I just assumed that it really is a server that he is after, and not a client.
But yeah, I might be wrong of course
