Well, one thing you can start with is checking your RAM.
Start with diagnosing it, and then if nothing turns up, swap the places of the RAM and then diagnose it again.
Also google for the brand of the RAM that you have if it has any known issue, and if you have several different brands of RAM on your board, then make sure to check if they have any issues running together.

Hey cats thanks for the fast response :)

i ran the memory diagnostics and it dident report any errors and i have tested it in every ram port with diagnostics and no reported errors :/ (i only have 1x 4gb ram)

Ive done some more googleing and apperently there are a few others out there with similar setup, they have not the precise errors codes but similar symptoms with random BSOD's ](*,) but no one have found a permanent solution to the issue or pin point the exact issue

they hardware i have that matches there setup's is the motherboard and ram...

These issues are often very tricky to solve, but I can give you two more advice for now

1: Find another RAM stick that you can test with (borrow from a friend perhaps?)
2: Update your drivers (graphic cards often cause BSOD when the drivers are bugged. Happened to me a few times with my Nvidia cards)

Check this out

Code: Select all

http://forums.techguy.org/hardware/996121-bsod-computer-i-built-myself.html
And this

Code: Select all

None of the links seem to have a solution really, but there are a few hints on what the problem might be and what you can try.

When did this problem begin? Was it after running the bitcoin Miner? That can be pretty taxing on my GPU at least, so perhaps look there?

Wait isn't CCC.exe and MOM.exe specific to ATI Cards? Isn't the GeForce 460 an Nvidia card?

Edit * I guess it isn't...

Edit again * Yes Nvidia has there own version of Catalyst/CCC/MOM, maybe that's the issue... Did you have an ATI card previously?

Yeah, maybe you should try switching the graphics card as well and see if it helps? :-k
But don't switch both the RAM and the G-card, since then you won't know which one is the problem if it helps ^^

I have done some testing during the night and there is nothing wrong with the hardware #-o

I swapped the ram with an other set still crashes.
I swaped out the graphic card to an ATI card i borrowed from a friend and it dident crash :D

So i deceded to test my nvidia card in an other box and it runs smooth with out any error soo there is not realy any trubble with that either, tested to run with my ram too and it runs nice and smooth >.<

Can it be the chipset driver that do not behave around the nvidia driver? or the other way around.

Thanks btw for all help :)

Yeah it's possible that your g-card doesn't play well with the rest of your setup :-k

I would say that it's worth a try to swap card for a few days and do some gaming, and see what happens.

Do you still have warranty on the g-card?

I will hang on to this card for a few days and do some more testing, that card is 2+ years old (give or take) so i dont have any warranty left :/

hm, when I check the event log screenshot I see most errors and warnings are in context with networking, DHCP fails, etc.
do you also run the regular Bitcoin client at the same time? because for me it causes desktop freezes sometimes...just a few seconds, and also pretty rare (like maybe twice a day), but I am sure that it's also in context with the network activity. I just had no time yet to trace it, and to be honest it's so rare that it's not on top of my list.

are your NIC and mainboard (if onboard NIC) drivers up to date?
