If i have my computer on a my LAN with an ethernet cable and then turn on my wifi and connect to my home network again will i see any speed increases? doubt it but just curious. also if i am connected onto my LAN and then use my wireless card to connect to say my neigbors wifi will i see any performance gains??

I don't think so...only if you transfer huge files (like DVD .iso images for example) in your LAN using the full bandwidth of one card and you want to use the other network card for internet access. but well, it also depends on the hardware...so yes: try... :wink:
