my sound....

Post by JuggaloMushroom »

just recently my computer has stopped playing sound on all sorts of players and even videos,I have no idea what has happened.I have tried to do everything possible to fix it,and still no luck. The problem is that the default sound device option doesn't have anything on the drop down bar.If any one is able to help me please do so,it's very irritating having no sound. :(

maybe you somehow deleted all the sounds that come with windows

if the login sound is still there you should be able to hear all others

have you checked if any application might cause thist behavior?

what about "Volume Control" :) i know you did check it
but check it anyway make sure the correct settings are on it

also what do you use to listen to music and watch videos?

sup,

right click my computer --> Hardware--> Device Manager

Look for yellow question marks, those are the drivers that you are missing.

If you can see your audio card, then google the brand and update or reinstall the drivers.

Post the results.

cheers.

*sigh*

Start >> Control panel (classic view) >> Administrator Tools >> Services

Look for "Windows Audio"

:)
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...
