windows vista and compatibility issues

Post by hamada »

Hello every one, I'm kinda new here, posting for the first time...
I have a problem with windows vista!
Some of the programs in the download section are not working, maybe due to compatibility issues ( I'm not sure! )
Does any one know about this issue, and how it could be solved ?
Thanks

Could you specify that particular program? So your question could easily be answered. :D

What error are you getting? I know most of the ones I have downloaded off of here get flagged by my AV as something malicious since they are hacking tools
Gone

I think its fine now, i removed symantic anti virus, and installed AVG instead, the install process for the application is starting.
The programs that were not working:
1- freekgbkeylogger
2- ehtersnoop

thanks for the help !

hamada,
welcome to the forum, btw lots of networking tools will trip alarms because they 'could' be misused.
I also prefer Comodo firewall and AVP. you do not always have to have a AVP running all the time, just the firewall.

Hamada
I work in a hospital - I am a nurse assistant on a cardiac unit - very high pressure and things can go bad in a second. You will find people in all different fields, I do have a degree in CIS, with Novell 4/5.0 - but no work in IT!

Good to see ya!
