visual HDD analysis

Post by bad_brain »

stumbled over a nice little program, so I thought I should share, it's called "Sequoia View" and displays how the space on a HDD is utilized.
have a look at mine, just defrag'd it, so it looks pretty clean:

you can get the app here.
(will add it to the download section on the next update).

The name sounds familiar, but from the screen shot that you took, i don't think i've ever used it before. Pretty cool program. Does it have any other functionality besides showing you the file layout of your hard drive?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

nope, the app is only for that single purpose...you can edit the layout, but that's all. but well, makes it very lightweight at the same time... :)

Wow, you can play tetris with your data!

 Yea, I think Windows used to do a pie-chart kind of graphical display.
