making a folder not hidden ? help

hi,

someone has Windows 7, he wants me to help him folders with pale yellow hidden he can see them but when he right click them , then properties there is no hidden square to untick it like this picture ( it is all white nothing in that red square )

he wants to make them normal not hidden , not showing them only

I have windows vista, but I think this is what you are asking about:

my computer -->Organize tab --> Folder and Search Options --> View tab--> Advanced settings window --> under hidden files and folders check the show hidden files and folders

not showing the hidden folder , he wants to make it not hidden as any normal folder the problem that there is no hide check box in proberties of hidden folders

So probably that's a difference between vista and windows 7 :roll:
Maybe some Google search would the trick.

What type of Version of Windows 7 is he running? Legit or Warezed activated?

Try changing the attribute in the command prompt. The command is as follows:

attrib -H "C:\path\to\file.ext"
