hm, updated all the mainboard drivers? checked the powersaving settings? CMOS battery fine? :-k

hm, what exact brand/model is it? when googling I stumbled over multiple laptops that have compatibility problems with win7, mostly Toshiba ones... :-k

hm, I recommend to install the latest mainboard/chipset drivers again....the drivers included in Win7 are crap and usually only provide the basic functionality... :-k
