DRM9?

One of my friends is buying an mp3 player and the mp3 player has some sort of DRM9 music protection or something and I got a few questions?
Will it play normal mp3 files eg(limewire )
If it cant there must be a hack or a program that makes the file playable?

Hmmm , try some converter or something... Im not having problem transferring mp3 from my limewire to my ipod. My friends has mp3 player too, but they're aren't having problem transferring music from downloaded limewire mp3. What kind of mp3 it is?
