Well.

Post by Big-E »

I may be on my way home in the next week or so. If that is the case, then I have access to my 3 boxes again, which means I have some play time. We I get home I want to set up a cluster with my 3 boxes, now I know this will require some additional hardware and I need to figure out what I need. Anyone have any idea or any links to sites which explain cluster computing?

If I don't do that, I want to set up some kind of cool network that I can fool around with and do some pen testing on without getting in legal issues. If anyone has any ideas for a set up (perhaps you can fool around too. ;) ) then please, let me know.

if you want to use Tomcat go for it! the configuration is a pain in the rear, but I can give you some help when having problems, I've set up Tomcat4 on 2 servers already...

and here's a good place to start for clustering:

blasphemy! 8O

you have it easy circuit, I simply can't afford to experiment with settings when having 20 customers on the server....and my Java install by converting the .bin file to a .deb one was a masterpiece and should be mentioned in history books... [-(
