ei people... you see this friend of mine wants to trade his 2 Sticks of PQi 1GB DDR2 800 RAM with my 2 sticks of Kingston 1GB DDR2 667 RAM. i asked him why wud he want to do that since my RAM is lower than his. he said that he just wants the brand kingston in his machine. i just want to get an opinion from you guys on what you think about the brand PQi and if i shud accept the trade and give up my kingston for a PQi. i have tested his RAM on my machine ran a RAM benchmark on it with pc wizard and everything seems to be fine and doing ok. i'm asking for your opinion cuz PQi is not a well known brand here in the Philippines. in fact i barely even know the brand and how long has it been in business. i checked they're website though it said that pqi was established in 1997 in taiwan. just give your opinion guys. thanks in advance.

nice hiper, the AMD x2 64 6000+ 3.11GhZ CPU seems to be pretty popular (using it too), there is also one with 3.0 GhZ (also named X2 6000+) with a different core and more L2 cache (2x1mb instead of 2x512kb), but the 3.11GhZ one is still the better option imo because it only needs 89 Watts instead of 125.
Pong, I checked some reviews about different PQi RAM modules and found nothing negative. if all works right (don't just boot, also challenge the RAM a little by playing a game for example) I see no reason not to switch.
I also have never heard of PQi before, but it seems not to be an "actually-no-name" manufacturer....
