fixing a friends computer

im gonna fix my friends computer i need to know about some stuff that could possibly help im gonna try and get an antivirus for linux and use my live cd on his computer

any suggestions?

Mepis live cd should do the trick.

Knoppicillin also works, it includes AV scanners from BitDefender and AntiVir, but I am not 100% sure if the language is maybe german only....but it's worth a try:

thanks i really didn't know what to look for but now i can remember for future references

and i have to go fix his computer soon xD
