just seen this for sale at www.woot.com does it really make your network faster? how? its only 20 bucks , so if there is a huge diffrence is speed it sounds like it would be worth it.. has anybody heard of one of these?

hm, haven't heard of it before, and I really doubt it will have a remarkable effect. if you are using VoIP a lot while online gaming or running other apps that cause a lot of network traffic it MIGHT increase the VoIP quality because it shapes the QoS.
but well, like I said, I doubt it's worth the money...better use the cash for some nice Cat6 network cables...

na cat 6 works just the same. it is just catagory 6 instead of 5 which means it has a higher bandwidth and shorter delay

yeup, cat6 cable simply have a better quality and a higher electric shielding.
if you have longer network cables (+5 meters) it's even a must imo...
