External USB drive question

I am looking to get a 1TB external USB backup drive. I allready have a 320GB one but that is not enough space, and it is a western digital mybook which will not work on a network.

Can anyone recommend a good, reliable, affordable 1TB drive that will also work on a network when plugged in?

i'd check newegg or tiger direct, the buyers usually give feedback on the product and are usually cheaper than stores in the area..i was looking for one myself but only found the mybook @ walmart

nightkid had the right idea... 1 TB NAS for $132 US on newegg downside is it doesn't support NTFS... if that''s actually a downside XF
