okay....well, i dont know "areas" it falls into lol

The only thing I know about computers is dont spill cofee on them.

I am basing it on a corrupt public official who stalks someone, and wondering the details as to accessing personal details and covering his tracks.

Modify your search dependant on what turns up.

you can try "privacy rules for politicans"
"politican's privacy tactics"
"methods of political privacy"
"private investigators"
"private investigators for politicians"

and so forth:)
