I have had a lot of problems with my codec lately, and b_b helped me out and fixed some of it yesterday =)
But i have a problem with some avi files....they can be played. But the avi files that i have used for Adobe premiere can't be "previewed" in folders and cant be used in Premiere anymore, i get the message "Unsupported compression in file" in Premiere.
Thanks in advance!

alright, found something, but I'm not sure if it works...but well, it's worth a try:
let me know if it worked...here is how you import the compressed .AVI’s with Adobe Premiere
v5.1 and 6
- Create New Project
- Open the Import File window (control-i)
- Select (but do not open) the file you want to import
- Change the file type at the bottom to: QuickTime (mov)
it will appear that there is no file to select but it should import

damn...ok, next try:
install the TSCC codec, it's extra for screen-capturing issues:

If you have Premier Pro:
Select the video inside your project view, then go to File>Interpret Video, then disable the alpha channel.
