Removing Linux from snd HD

Post by Nerdz »

I have Linux on my second Hd... and I currently need some space so I've decide to remove linux from my snd hd and use it as a storage hd.

How do I do this? I mean, I guess the boot loader is in the Linux drive because when I start my pc it ask me to select to os to boot in.

If you can tell me or point me somewhere, I would really appreciate.

Thanks :)

format the Linux Partitions from within windows. if the boot loader is still there, boot from a Floppy to a command prompt and type

Code: Select all

fdisk /mbr

Apart from that, you can boot a Windows CD and boot into the recovery console and type "fixmbr" and it'll make windows boot automatically.

Either way will work.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...
