Creating game server

K i play Counterstrike alot and i was just wondering how you can set up your own server rather than having to pay god knows what to rent one. Any help apreciated.

Pretty easy, all you need is a fast and stable internet connection with a good bandwidth. You surely have played CS on a LAN, right? LAN or internet, works both the same way, you start a multiplayer game as host and give your buddies your IP so they can connect to you...it´s no problem to use your box as a server and client at the same time.
