what is the best bit torrent software to run on debian. something thats not too heavy on resources
p.s i have wine installed already just not sure which client and as some of you may have done some testing yourselves.

I use Ktorrent. Utorrent can run on wine but do not try using bitorrent. I am not sure for Diebian but I have had only trouble trying to install bitorrent on mandriva linux distro. You can also look at Rtorrent. Any way try out a couple of things and you will see what works out well for you!

I think you can use apt-get to install azureus...i used that, worked great.

apt-get install azureus
