sharing my music over network

I have a home network and I am sharing my music folder wehn i try to play the music from my other computer it says Windows media player cannot access the file.
help?any reccomendations.

do you have like, internet security of some sort? maybe something is limiting your access to the files...

The answer to ur problem is that you may have already the song being played by the p2p application and then WMP cannot access the file because it is used by the other app...

Another solution might be that you will need to set the permissions to allow the files to be run on the network. Try right clicking the folder that the mp3’s are in and go to properties then click the sharing tab - turning it on.
