[SOLVED]mounting NTFS

I'd like to mount my other HDD(ntfs) to kubuntu so i can back up some datas to reformat it so i can try debian but theres an error

I cant open the terminal either.

apt-get install ntfs-3g

without this package you can't mount ntfs partitions, ntfs-3g mounts them even automatically....

I have installed debian etch, but startx says 'command not found'. I'll try to work my way in on this one. Thanks again.
