bitmap image to vector

Hello every one
can any one tell me if there is an easy way to transform a jpeg image into a vector type image !
i would appriciate it if there is a link to this application, and i hope its free too

Also if any one knows about the issue, if he/she can share with us the information, we would all apprciate it.

there is no quick way, you have to do it by photoshop to get good results. There is http://vectormagic.com/home
