recommended phone?

Okay so i'm looking for a new phone, preferably under $300, compatible with verizon. something like blackberry storm or htc touch diamond. suggestions?

Well, it was a little while now since I checked out the newer phones, but I do NOT recommend a HTC Touch pro or Touch pro diamond. I had one before and in terms of a phone it sucked badly. Really bad sound and battery time.

I would go for a Sony Ericsson of some sort ... they are almost always neat ^^

Well, in my opinion, and because phones mean to me so much, i would advise i phone, its the state of technology.... it ROCKS $\:D/$

i need something compatible with verizon though. (i know what you're all thinking... "cdma sucks"....) but being still in high school, my parents pay my phone bill, and my mom gets a verizon discount. :/

I'm waiting for the nokia N97, this is def a phone to buy.. it's kinda expensive tho, but worth the price.

well, in many reviews on the internet u read some thing like:
Both the N96 and N97 are not worth the price... This is because increasing the memory should not make such an increase in the price.
The N97 is not that different from other phones (aside from the form), only the quewetry board, and that's not some thing really significant. Thus the N97 has a bluffed price, its not worth that price, same goes to N96, and N95 when I first wanted to buy it, and this apply to almost all N-series phones.
