Getting Started

Post by Gogeta70 »

Sorry if a topic like this has already been created, but anyway....

This is a compilation of links dedicated to websites that help our users learn. This means links about security, programming, hardware and software, hacking(legal), wireless internet, etc. Feel free to add your own link.

Programming/Scripting:

http://w3schools.com - Not very in depth on anything, but a great starter site.

http://php.net - Forget how to do something? Look here. (php only)

http://cplusplus.com - Learn C++!

Hacking/Security

http://www.hackersdirectory.com/index.html - Lots of links to other websites

http://astalavista.box.sk/ - Security search engine

http://www.astalavista.com/ - Lots of security related material

http://hackthissite.org / http://criticalsecurity.net - HTS and their forums.

Also, check our affiliates to the left of this web site.

Software/Hardware

http://freewarefiles.com - Lots of freeware(duh)

http://snapfiles.com - More freeware

I can't think of anymore right now, so until next time...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

If you look and study programming languages, all will seem off the track to you. But only if you land at the right place, you will gain useful knowledge and application skills. Here are some of the websites you can try:
HackerRank: One of the best websites to learn loads of basic programming skills.
freeCodeCamp: It is known for quality guidance, posts, and material for new learners.
GeeksforGeeks: A free platform for learning all the basic programming knowledge
Codecademy: Known for providing useful coding skills and knowledge.
Codementor: This site is known for providing project-based knowledge and tasks which are built by professionals.

Weblinks:

freecodecamp.org
geeksforgeeks.com
codecademy.com
