New Hardware (showoff)

Hello guys!
Today I bought an external HDD and wanted to show off a little

It's an LG 320GB

Finally I can make a backup of my files and finally I'm gonna be able to sleep at night

sweet...

just make sure to place it on a safe place while using it...my external HDD once felt down on the floor when unplugging it, the disk was still spinning so it caused a nice header crash and all data was lost...

I think the light bulbs give enough light to lighten a few meters facing the cam...

But i want to know, is this thing really an 8mp cam ?

I mean that 8mp cams are still considered "luxurious" and an 8mp packed into such a device is some thing really good

Any way,I have a 1.3 megapixel built-in cam in my lappy and it serves me well

most external cams here @ local stores range between 1.3 - 2 mp

well, 8 megapixel is a lot for a webcam, but look how many pixel already cellphone cameras have nowadays, 3 mp and even more...2-3 years ago 3 mp on a digicam caused a "wow!", nowadays even my 1 year old 7.2 mp digicam is nothing I can impress anyone with anymore...

yes your right bad brain, my N95 packs a 5 MP cam, and soon hopefully I want to get the N86 that comes with a 8 MP cam

but regarding the web cam, don't you think that 8 MP is a large value...
from my experience the built-in cam in my lappy is quit slow , and those viewing my web cam tell me that it is !!!
But i don't think that the live web cam functions in full 8 MP mode, I think this is only for still images
