A+ Certification

Peace,

I am looking to start my path with certifications. I have a degree in specialized technology/hardware. I worked as a desktop support technician for about 3-4 yrs and as a help desk analyst for about 1 and a half years.

The first certification I want to take is the A+ Certification. Does anybody here have that certification, and are there any links to a book I can download to understand and improve my hardware skills? I also would like to know if there are any test questions that are similar to the A+ certification test. I need both. I know that improving my skills and the test questions are what is needed to pass the actual A+ exam.

Also if you have any advice for me, please feel free to post . I am curious of what others studied to tackle the exam.

hm, the only certifications I am hot for are the LPIC ones, so I can't give any practical advice....but check your PMs.
