Plasmoids

Post by lilrofl »

found a good plasmoid for KDE4 called magic folder.

It creates a folder icon on your desktop, or one of your panels. You edit the settings of the folder to manage the location files are moved to when dragged and dropped onto the magic folder. So when you drop a file off your desktop into the magic folder it is moved to a predefined location.

Made me want to ask if you use plasmoids, and if so, what your favorites are?

I am not using a graphical desktop anymore on my Linux box, but when I did I liked the "system monitor" plasmoid a lot:

I also use the "System Monitor" plasmoid very useful and visually appealing!
