Backtrack was based on Slax and Knoppix up until version 4 where it was based on debian honestly not sure if this distro is based on Backtrack or not :-)

This distro just looks like it is ubuntu 10.10 with all of the tools that backtrack offers pre installed.

Says here that BT is based on Ubuntu: http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=backtrack" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Doesn't matter, those two are still quite the same things then. :/

I have tried out blackbuntu and ..... not to be harsh or anything .. but it did not meet my expectations when I was using it.Customising it is literally hell for me, plus it did not have the "candy" look to beat backtrack that I was looking for , it did not have the amount of documentation publically available for its distro but .... mayby it's because it is realitively new ?... unless blackbuntu does something to catch my eye, I'l stick to backtrack for now, but thats my opinion what are yours.
I can use all the shells,so now I can finally hear the ocean
