I haven't because I don't believe in any of that, but that's not the point here. I've found a thread on a popular regional forum - ~ 50 posts not a single one positive about that stuff - placebo effect + a waste of money. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it, just double check all the info about it ;)

hm, yeah, the problem is that there are no scientific studies, and I am sure many people took l-carnintine and expected to increase their fitness that way without doing any sports...of course this can't work.
I don't expect miracles from it, I mean, it's not even on the doping-list.

I took some of those in the last 2 weeks:
http://www.movistarteamshop.com/en/cycl ... ruits.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
hard to say if it had an effect, I am on my bike almost every day anyway and so I am in a pretty good shape (always fun to annoy road bike drivers by hanging behind their rear wheel with my MTB :lol: ).....but I will not buy that stuff again, simply because it's damn expensive, 2.19 Euro for 25ml... ](*,)
I have ordered a liter bottle of l-carnitine now on amazon, just 12 Euro....so when I am done with the bottle I will know if there is really an effect or not because I will use a pretty high dosage (1g in the morning, 1g before biking, 1g before going to sleep).

I will report then... :)

I thought it was creatine - you want to overload creatine for endurance (excess creatine is pissed away). You have to load it for at least a week, before it works, and high doses to keep it in your system. Waste of time? perhaps - what if you interupt the supply - then it is a waste of time. Always build a system that will survive on minimal or low doses.

I use:
T-Bomb II - by MHPstrong
and
Prototype 216 - amino complex by Muscletech
(disregard instructions for serving size (6 caps!) start at low dose and work up to 3 caps) (T-bomb, only one cap)

The only issue I have with your use of carnitine - aminos usually need other aminos to work best - hence my amino complex supplement.

hm, didn't knew that, so I got the "Nutrixxion Endurance" sports drink powder today, the Isostar one I had before was empty anyway...and it was also too sweet for my preferences.

a lot of protein drinks suck in taste. Its a trial and error thing to find something that taste ok, works, and not too expensive. My stuff runs $70 a bottle, but as I take low doses, it last several months.

Make sure you are not overdoing the energy drinks.

Yea, I hate skinny tires too - keep scaring them, maybe they will move back on the sidewalks lol
