I would like to add a free shopping cart with a shipping calculator and fields for customer information. Is there a good secure shopping cart available?

well, Zen Cart and osCommerce are the most used free ones:

http://www.oscommerce.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Zen Cart seems to be more actively developed than osCommerce, so I would label it more secure.

personally I would prefer Virtuemart, which is actually a Joomla plugin, so you have to set up Joomla first. it's actively developed and maintained and from a security POV it's surely better than the ones above....it's also fully featured. just the initial setup takes a bit more work, but it's worth it.
