Hello World!

Post by Xonet »

This is actually my second introduction, but thought it might be appropriate.

A long time ago in a galaxy far away I was active on suck-o, according to my messages it was 2005-2008 to be precise. In short, I was 19 then and got out of IT for a while, life took some crazy turns, some good, some bad, and here I am again. :D
I'm currently working as a backend developer, mostly maintaining legacy COBOL programs (a very exciting thing, you should give it a try), while working my way trough finishing a BA in computer sciences.

My main interests are coding and expanding my knowledge of it. Due to combining full time work with full time study, I don't have much leisure time, but when I do find the time I do some volunteers work and listen to vinyl.

And of course I'm hoping to find the time to be active here again.

Hope we'll have fun :)

Welcome back, nice to see some people still interested in working with COBOL.
