I've heard it was crap.
Though I haven't gotten it myself, I trust the person who told me this so I chose not to spend money on it.

if you're looking for a exclusive doorstopper it's the right thing for you! :lol:
hands off this book man, it's a complete rip-off....
when I was a newbie I bought this piece of crap.... #-o there is only completely outdated and useless content in it, also it's no book, it's like a mag with only about 50 pages.
once again: hands off man, it's a waste of money... :wink:

as long as no direct links to warez/crackz/serials are posted in public it's no problem... :wink: even if you can dl it for free I feel sorry for the packets which have to transmit such crappy data, I'm sure the TCP-headers have to throw up several times during the transfer... :lol:
look at this=> ...
now you have already learned more about hacking than with the whole book.... :lol:

books, you know, the paper shit you can't wipe your ass with

Check out the book Hacking Exposed at hackingexposed.com.

The only problem with books is they can quickly become outdated in tools and techniques. I have even brought hacking compilation CDs, but only to find most of the tools and tuts are old and patched news.

The only good books are current operating manuals and technical guides, I keep them as a reference library instead of trying to memorize all the technical aspects of the various OS, apps, and technologies. These books include telco device manuals stolen off a telco truck, military training manuals found at gun shows, dust-covered technical manuals I find hidden in the back of closets or trash of the various jobs I worked.

I have Hacking Linux Exposed v2 and it's frickin' great. I think I shouted about it in another thread where someone was looking for books.
