NFO files

im wondering how you create .nfo files. i downloaded some software that had two nfo files in it. if you double click it it takes you to your computer management or something, but if you drag it into a notepad it displays test that they want you to read.

how is that done?

As far as I can recall, NFO files are just XML files with the NFO extension, but associated with the Microsoft System Information program on Microsoft systems. They used to be something different (a way to take credit for a software hack).

You would make them like any other XML file.
