About a few years, it was more of an experiment to see how doing weights and sport would integrate together. I found that its quite hard to integrate both if you have a single goal in mind, you have aim to progress in all relevant areas otherwise you will find that you may have gotten stronger/etc. but aren't better at your sport.
I haven't lifted much since then but I think I should be able to squat and deadlift 100kg, my bench is probably around 55-60kg. I will be starting weights again soon but I am still reading through loads of sports science stuff.
I use weights too, but only in a very limited way....mostly just 10 kg dumbbells to train forearms and wrists which helps me to stay away from injuries and helps me to keep my bike under control in tricky situations (a few weeks ago I have hit a rock that was hidden under grass for example, which made the front jump up like a wild mustang).
I have been thinking about affording a barbell since a while already, because with some stands I could use it together with my sit-up bench....I am just hesitating a bit because decent barbells and weights are quite expensive...

Well you could always build your own sand mould and cast the weights and barbells using scrap metal
true, but I want my equipment to be living room friendly (design-wise), and I am also a pretty bad brand-fetishist...so I want either Finnlo or (as 2nd choice) Kettler.
I hit a 405 (183.7kg) squat back in November 2023. I've been on the diet from Hell since 2024. Started at 230lb (104.3kg) bodyweight trying to get down to 195(88.5kg). I am my own worst enemy. Best I've done benching is 285(~129kg).
started martial arts training a bit more than a year ago, and we mostly do calisthenics....the only exception are bulgarian bags for throwing practice.
